<a href=""></a>

4 eggs separated
2 cups sugar
1 quart milk ( i like skim)
1/4 tsp vanilla

Heat milk slowly until steaming
while milk is slowly heating beat the egg yolks with 1/2 of the sugar. Beat the egg white with the rest of the sugar until soft peaks
now that the milk is hot take a ladle of the milk and slowly put it into the egg yolk while stirring this tempers the egg so you do not make scrambled eggs now pour the yolks into the milk while stirring. then put the egg whites into the mix stirring gently simmer for a couple of minutes to heat thoroughly and add vanilla serve in a mug with ground nutmeg on top if you like.
