For the best profit for little investment, look and see where the nearest farmers market is located. Also check to see if you need a peddler's license. In our area as long as we sell on the road side in front of our farm we're not required to buy a license. But, to go any where in the county it's about 15.00. Each area may vary in price but I wouldn't think its too much.
A cooler with drinks iced down are always a bonus especially if there really cold. Have a load of watermelons or tomatoes etc you can buy for a mere fraction at the market and resale on the road side. Use large signs from card board with dark bold writing.
On a Saturday here you can easily make 4 to 5 hundred dollars with about 100.00 invested. I would start out with two or three things give the customers a little more and use your smile and personality. If they get a good buy they'll tell their neighbors and keep coming back.
Always have a bargain, say you buy melons for 50 cents to a dollar, double your money if someone wants three melons throw in a couple of tomato 's...
    Always pay cash</description>
