Layer softened cream cheese, the cocktail sauce, then shrimp or crab meat.  serve with crackers.  Or one time I didnt have time to do the layers, so I mixed it all together in a bowl.  It tasted great!!!!</description>

that sounds kind of like the crab dip my family makes.  we let the 8 oz. cream cheese block soften a little bit then spread it evenly on a plate.  we take cocktail sauce and spread that evenly over top of the cream cheese.  then we sprinkle the crab meat on top.  but you could substitute the shrimp for crab if you prefer.  then you dig in with your crackers :) and enjoy.</description>
